The best way to treat a stroke is for people to learn what to recognize using FAST:
F —facial numbness or weakness, especially on one side.
A —arm numbness or weakness, especially on one side.
S —slurred speech or difficulty speaking.
T —time to call 911.
Donations are an important source of funding for the Cerebrovascular Disease and Stroke Center. They help support patient care, new technologies and groundbreaking translational and clinical research that could lead to better treatments for patients who experience a stroke or other complex cerebrovascular conditions.
